Industrial Safety and Occupational Health Policy

At ALEPH LOGISTICS S.A. / ALEPH DISTRIBUTION S.A. we are fully committed to fostering a culture of occupational health and safety in our collaborators, contractors and visitors; protecting their integrity, ensuring the proper development of our operations and promoting a harmonious and safe work environment.
Guided by the criteria established in the Panamanian legislation on occupational health and safety, as well as in the ISO 45001:2018 standard, we are committed to act in a preventive manner, minimizing the impacts of our operations on the health and safety of our collaborators. With this approach, our commitment aims to:

• Drafting plans and implementing procedures: Develop and implement appropriate occupational health and safety plans and procedures, ensuring that all our employees receive the necessary resources to execute their tasks safely.
• Hazard identification and control: Identify, evaluate and control the hazards associated with our tire storage, loading and unloading operations, as well as the risks present in our administrative and executive offices, adopting corrective and preventive measures to minimize their impact.
• Compliance with local and international regulations and standards: Ensure compliance with all applicable national occupational health and safety regulations and laws, ensuring that our practices are aligned with the best industry standards.
• Promotion of Employee Health and Wellness: Promote comprehensive wellness programs for our employees, including the prevention of occupational diseases, the promotion of healthy habits and access to adequate medical services to ensure their physical and mental health.

It is essential that our employees, contractors and subcontractors understand that they have the right to a safe and healthy workplace, that safety is a condition of employment and that each individual is responsible for their own safety, that of their team members, the people in the communities in which we work and the environment in our areas of influence. All ALEPH LOGISTICS S.A. / ALEPH DISTRIBUTION S.A. personnel, our contractors and subcontractors have the right and obligation to stop work if an unsafe condition is identified.
